FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Are institutes the same as pre-conference workshops?
No. Pre-conference workshops are proposed by NASPA members through the Call for Programs. Institutes are curated by NASPA in partnership with specific constituent groups.
Do I need to register for the full conference to attend an institute?
No. Institute registration does not require a general conference registration. Specialty Institutes are elegible for special discount towards the main NASPA Annual Conference registration. Please refer to the registration page for discount information.
Can I attend an institute if I am not part of that constituent group?
Each institute is designed for a specific professional community. We encourage you to attend the institute that best reflects your role and institution type.
