Vice Presidents for Student Affairs

 

The VPSA Initiatives Subcommittee is creating engaging educational and networking opportunities for VPSAs attending the 2026 NASPA Annual Conference in Kansas City.

 

What to Expect:

  • VPSA Institute: A full-day, pre-conference, VPSA-exclusive program (registration required).
  • Navigating the Conference as a VPSA: Peer-guided tips for first-time VPSA attendees.
  • Roundtables & Colleague Conversations: Connect with peers by institutional type and topic.
  • VPSA & Voting Delegate Reception: Network and unwind with colleagues.
  • VPSA Lounge: A dedicated space to connect, collaborate, or recharge throughout the event.

Mid-level Administrators

 

Mid-level professionals—those serving between entry-level and AVP roles—are a vital part of the NASPA community. The 2026 Conference Leadership Committee is committed to offering content and experiences that speak directly to Mid-level Administrators.

 

Highlights:

  • Educational sessions focused on mentoring, supervision, and career growth.
  • Dedicated networking opportunities, receptions, and gatherings.
  • Programs identified by the Mid-level Administrators Steering Committee.

Small Colleges and Universities

The Small Colleges and Universities Division supports professionals at institutions enrolling fewer than 5,000 students, addressing their unique challenges and opportunities.

At the 2026 Annual Conference:

  • Tailored sessions on leadership, supervision, and institutional impact.
  • Networking events and Division-specific gatherings.
  • Engagement opportunities with the Small Colleges and Universities Advisory Board.
  • Looking ahead, join us for the 2026 M. Ben Hogan Small Colleges and Universities Institute this June.

Scholarship Opportunities

 

NASPA Foundation Access Scholarships

The NASPA Foundation, in partnership with NASPA, is excited to share this scholarship opportunity designed to keep NASPA members connected to the field and the Association. Donor gifts have allowed for scholarships to directly support conference registrations and on-site housing for select NASPA events, including the 2026 NASPA Annual Conference. There will be two application cycles for the 2026 NASPA Annual Conference, 1st cycle closes October 31, 2025; 2nd cycle closes January 13, 2026.

Applicant must be a current NASPA member to apply and be a current NASPA member at the start of the event the scholarship is awarded for. If you need assistance with obtaining a NASPA membership, please visit our Transitional Membership or Foundation Membership Scholarship sites to learn more about additional scholarship options.

Scholarships are open to any NASPA member in need with preference given to individuals recently furloughed, partially furloughed, laid-off, or recently graduated without employment.

  • Applicant must demonstrate financial need as it pertains to travel and attendance of professional events.
  • Applicant must not have been awarded this scholarship in the 2025-2026 cycle.
